We are looking for a full stack developer to work in a scrum team based in Gran Canaria, building a new platform for a UK based electric car company.

You will be working in a scrum team of 3 developers on a new Laravel / React platform building new features. You will be involved in the whole development lifecycle from planning to estimating, coding, QA and publishing to production.

Skills and experience

We are looking for full stack developers with either a speciality in the backend or frontend. You do not have to have experience in Laravel and React but ideally 1+ years experience in one would be preferable.

In a perfect world, you have: 

• Backend - Experience working in Laravel or Symfony or a similar PHP framework
• Frontend - Experience working in a JS framework (React, Vue etc)
• Working experience in HTML, CSS, Databases, GIT
• Our team is from the UK so it is essential you can communicate well in English

And we would be really thrilled if you also have:

Frontend:

•    Experiencing working with React Hooks
•    Experience with UI testing e.g. React testing library

Backend:

•     Experience in OOP
•     Experience with PHP Unit
•     Experience in Docker
•     Experience in AWS
•     Experience working with APIs
•     Experience working with payment gateways such as Stripe
•     Experience of the whole web development cycle from coding to QA to deployment
•     Prior experience developing on an Agile team environment
